Web Hosting
This site has been experiencing hosting problems for the past few days. Despite assurances from my web host company that the problem has been resolved, and that it was only for a few hours, this site is still mostly unaccessible. As I'm in a bad mood, and on a short fuse, I will be ditching my host provider (www.123-reg.co.uk, part of the Pipex Group) as soon as I can. Avoid like the plague.
I'm open to suggestions as to who should get my business now.

I can't recommend 34sp (http://www.34sp.com/) highly enough. The last year has been really good for availablity and I've asjed for a few Perl modules to be added which have been done promptly - can't ask for more. They've also increased the disk space you have available. There maybe cheaper elsewhere but they are the best I've used. Also got a great community forum that answers many problems.

I've calmed down a bit since I posted that. To be fair to them it was the first real problem I had experienced with their service but I wasn't getting the entire truth out of their support personnel and that bugs me.
I do have 3 new business domains though and I require hosting for the top one and I'll web forward the other 2 as sub-sites under the main one. I'll look into your recommendation further. They seem good value from the quick glance I had at their site. I'll definitely go with a new provider if only to make sure all my eggs are not in one basket but I'll probably leave digital-air where it is.

http://www.powweb.com are quite incredible value. I've no complaints.
