What the...?
Reports suggest that the average increase in Council Tax in Scotland will be twice that of inflation with Angus, where I live, topping the table (apart from the tory boy's Perth & Kinross) for the size of the increase. The final scores on the doors will be announced by Thursday.
How can a rural area like Angus justify such a huge increase? Admittedly Angus has one of the lower Council Tax rates in Scotland but this smacks of keeping up with the "McJones" rather than real expenditure needs. I blame... wait for it... the bitch thatcher. Just wait till the political scum come greasing round my way for some votes in the coming elections.

5.3% bastards! My conucil tax has now risen by over 20% in the 4 years I've been here. Do the council think these increases are sustainable? I'll tell you now, they're not and they better start making alternative plans soon! Otherwise...R E V O L U T I O N.
