Blender 2.37 Woof!

Let joy be unconfined, a new release of Blender. Big leap forward with a lot of tweaking under the bonnet in preparation for the major animation tools update planned for version 2.38.

That said, a few of the (personal) standouts for this release are soft bodies (clothes, curtains and the like), threaded rendering (for dual CPU systems like my Dual Xeon beast at work :) and widgets for easier mesh editing similar to the "professional packages" to scale, rotate and transform. Nice stuff.

Still amazed that this quality of tool is open source and free. Check out the details of the new release at Blender3d.org.
