BT Exchange Upgrades
Further to Demon's announcement that they will offer free speed upgrades, as and when BT get around to carrying the work out on a user's exchange, you can check the scheduled timescales for your own exchange here.
According to this my local exchange will be upgraded during August 2005 and should provide me with the full 2Mbps bandwidth.

Ironic perhaps that you have to look to a rival ISP to provide the scheduled timescales of the upgrade. Way to go Plus.net!

Even more ironic was that a number of Demon customers only found out about Demon's switch to full speed when they phoned up to cancel their subscription and get a MAC code for their new supplier :-) Demon are very good but their communication can be poor.
