Much Joy

Cuppa-soup busting, I'm off to see Roger Waters on the 8th May 2007 at the Birmingham NEC. Hurrah, I haven't seen the old git in concert since 2002 in Manchester and before that in Toronto in 1999. This is a continuation to his 2006 tour which was mostly festivals during the summer which I didn't fancy (far too old for that sort of thing). The first half of the concert will be the usual retrospective of his solo work and Pink Floyd favourites followed by Dark Side of the Moon in the second half, result, woof!

Tickets went on sale on Friday and seem to be selling well with zero publicity. Bloody pricey though at £50 a pop, ouch. Still, he's getting on a bit and I'm not for passing up the chance to see him once again and performing his classic Pink Floyd album as well is the icing on the cake.

Also confirmed for Manchester MEN Arena 7/05/07 and Earls Court on 11/05/07.
