Nintendo Wii
I've ordered a Wii and I still can't believe I've done it. A mate at work got one last week and raved about the sheer fun of the device and the games confirming what I'd already heard. Taken by surprise to find some stock online, this morning, I bought one with hardly a thought.
The face to face social aspect when married to the Wiimote's unique concept had me really interested. When Lesley has her friends round for a girlie night they usually demand the dance mat to be set up on my old PS1. Hours of fun to be had as ladies who should know better work up a sweat. With the Wii I can see the personal, one to one, competition of it's casual gaming being a real hit. Fun, pure and simple, fun. No pretence of cutting edge graphics and technology just fun games. I canny wait.

I got one around launch time, and it is fun, but suffers from a lack of decent titles. You might get more out of it if you want to retro game off the virtual console, but the 360 remains the console of choice for me.
Not been on much lately as the central heating has been done and the kitchen is being done right now, so the house is a mess!
