We Salute You
With the man now known as King David of Healy joining the greats of Norn Iron football headed by Sir Danny of Blanchflower, Lord Billy of Bingham and topped, of course, by Saint Pat of Jennings we (the people) wait with bated breath and fingers crossed for a miracle of such proportions it would shake the Christian church to it's very foundations if Norn Iron were to beat Spain tonight and Latvia hump Sweden.
For that is what must happen if the glorious Green and White Army are to pack their passports once more for a footballing festival. Stranger things have happened (helicopter Sunday springs to mind :), but not many. Now is not the time to dwell on the cudda, wudda, shudda's that have littered this campaign. Come on!

Seems like a really long shot, maybe a unified team would do better? ;) At least it might stop the FAI nicking all of Scotland's plastic paddys!

Not even in jest. Rugby, fair enough, fitba would be a step too far, anyway I can't think of one player from the south good enough to stand along side the might of any of the norn iron team.
Scotland can afford to lose some plastic paddy's they seem to breed like flipping.... err you know.
